Yes, once again it's time for the Iron County Fair and so I am getting my entries together. I decided to make a baby quilt so monday I started this rag quilt which i washed and dryed on Tues. This was a class I took last month so just had to put abatt and back on it and quilt it Which I did on Wendsday. The pattern is Contra dance.
This is my entry for hand quilting its the double wedding ring pattern. Last year I did one ring for each of my diningroom chairs (6 of them ) and covered them in a thin vynal for protection. I made a table runner and this wall hanging to match. It looks pretty nice I think .
This pic is a bit blurry but the wall hanging is called Santa in the pines. I took this class in 2005 and finally finished this and one with blue santa's last year.
This Christmas wreath was a class I took last november and I actually finished it in time for Christmas. So these are the entries so far.
Thurs I had a class on Dying so took the day off from fair prep but the class was really fun and very informative. Oh, are you confused? The class was on Dye , coloring fabrics. It was from 10 am until 4:30 pm so long. But I have a couple yards of various colored fabrics and gained much knowledge.

I really love that rag quilt!
Okay I am a little confused . . . is "abatt" some technical quilting term or is it some 'mom spelling' for something else??
The quilts all look really good though. I am sure dad is glad that you have been finishing so many projects!
