Happy Happy Birthday Jennifer Lene

So its the big three "o" for Jen and we celebrated by meeting in Provo for Women's conference.
Mom came from New Your. Jen's friend Becky came from Ohio. Jen from Reno NV, I came from Cedar and Nicole traveled the treacherous road from Salt lake. But a good time was had by all. a couple memories of Jen. She was our second daughter and a bit of a difficult teenager, but we all got thru those years, And she has turned out to be an awesome mother to her growing family. She is a beautiful person inside and out. This was not always something she knew. One of the best things I think I ever did for Jennie was to take her for glamor shots for her 16th birthday. She couldn't believe the pictures were really her. Because up until that point she didn't see what a pretty girl she was. We always saw it, it was wonderful for her to realize what we'd known all along. Jennifer is a beautiful person both inside and out.

She was even cute when she was younger not sure if she'll ever forgive us for the hugh glasses but fads soon pass and leave us all wondering... What were we thinking???

So yes this is how our little girl started out. O.K. she wasn't that little. In fact she was the youngest baby in a nursery , and the only girl and she out weighed them all. None over 7 pounds .But she was healthy and had ten fingers and toes. Could almost open her eyes. And even though she gave us a scare being born blue with the cord wrapped tightly around her neck. She pinked up and we were and still are very blessed to have her in our family. We love you Jennie Lene and send you all the love we have.Mom + Dad

Happy Birthday to me. Happy Birthday to me. . .

Oh, I mean, thanks for making the trip to Provo to celebrate with me. It was definately a trip to remember. We should do it again soon (without all the drama on the homefront though!).
