Iron County Fair entrees

Labor day weekend brings the Iron county Fair and my competitive
juices. So I entered 17 items this year.
10 Quilts , 5 items in Sewing , and 2 in Crochet. These two baby blankets both "split 9 patch"

This was my masterpiece e and ended up to be quilt humbling when it received a 2nd place red ribbon. I was less than happy with the criticism which was that my lace over lay was longer and the lining shorter than the dress ( I did it on purpose). Any way I am happy with it. What do you think.

This is the complete set, Dress and cape are made of

satin with lace over skirt, and trim on cape and a hankie

hat to match. The set will go to the next baby girl blessed

in the cold months.

All and All I did well and am determined to get stuff in the State fair next year

I expect them to be tougher but want to see how I fair with a larger venue and a

different set of judges.
