Happy Birthday to me!!!

Yes I am big on Birthdays and that totally includes mine,. Ron was so sweet this year he made an appointment for me to get my hair done colored, cut and thinned. So go time up and there at 9 am. then when I was done , he came to check on me twice, He took me to lunch at my choice ; Cafe Rio. We spent the day together just hangin out and it was really wonderful.
I have to admit one of my favorite things about my birthday is the phone calls the well wishers are great and even though a few were a day late the best ones are from the grand children who sing. I try not to answer them so I can listen to them over and over. Pat started the calls no he didn't sing. that's to bad but he wished me happy birthday and said he loved me. This made me happy. than Jennie called and the children sang and it was so cute little Emma kept singing haaapy, ta ta, through the whole song I laughed and totally played it over each day till it was erased. Next was Nicole and the girls singing their birthday rendition but they sang in fast speed so I laughed again. I laughed each time I replayed my songs. When Crystal called for Alex to sing I answered and it was great as she kept singing than would hesitate and sing the next line. I wish I'd not answered so I could hear her over again but it was really fun. Than about 10:00 pm my mom called which was midnight for her. So I had a wonderful day.
As I said the today I went shopping to catch a few after Christmas sales, and touch base with quilt stores for the retreat. Met with Judy Rockwell for lunch and got a couple calls. from Patti, and Karen and Dorothy, I'm grateful they didn't sing the sad version to me. We got some snow and so it was white and fun. So I'm another year older, not sure about the wiser but I guess time will tell.
