A badly need get away to Reno

So Wednesday morning Ron called me from work to say that he wasn't working for a few day s would I like to get away. Go visit Jen and family. I was way excited... Talked with Jen and she told us Dallas' day off is Mon and so the saga began. I had a retreat meeting scheduled for Mon. So after talking with Jen two more times we are coming we're not we'll try next weekend, I made bunches of phone calls and rearranged things we left Thurs am after we stopped by to visit with the Williams. On the road by 10:00 am. We arrived by 5:00pm their time ,to a sitter with the kids, Dallas still at work, Jen at the cannery. so we played with the kids awhile. Ethan loved the Wii and before we left he was totally bowling a 145 average. Rory and Emma took to cuddling with Grandpa, and even though we had to take Rory to dr. as she had an ear infection we had a fun time.

our days were filled with playing with the kids, Ron even had time to work on family history and getting Jen's paf updated. All three of the kids had colds, so grandpa ran the tissue patrol.

And the wii was a big hit , we had to limit the play time.

And we enjoyed the quiet of nap time

And cuddle time...

Monday morning Dallas has today off so we get to do stuff together Obviously the Kids are excited as they wake up grandma and grandpa. No that's not breakfast that's a choc chip cookie grandma made while Jen and grandpa took the

l esson to pre- school.

Rory dressed for the day, needs her hair done yet.

Time to clean out the garage so the van will fit in... Packing up some of Dallas' toys

After the garage was cleaned up it was time to play...Grandpa and Emma watching...We went to a big Sports store where Ron was able to find a holster. Ethan and Daddy going for a ride

Then Ron and Dallas took the kids home and started supper Jen and I made a quick stop at a quilt store. then a Jamba juice and home for dinner and F.H. E. Jen reading the info she'd printed on the computer for F.H. E. so we had a great lesson on families. Dallas and Ethan playing a game of star wars battleships

We got up and finished packing up and had hoped to get an early start for home wasn't to bad though headed home around 10:15 a.m. Was a wonderful vacation , which I definitely needed and naturally the world didn't even wait for me to get home got a call from guild pres wanting to change meeting. But we weren't able to talk long before being in a dead zone.
