I've been busy and haven't gotten around to blogging so decided today I'd play catchup before I get into sewing. After the retreat and our trip I have been pretty much trying to get old projects done. I've made a small dent in that process. Yesterday I completed 10 out of 14 blocks I need to finish from my last years block of the month s I took. I also finished a quilt top from 2 years ago and the top to the other one from last year. I start the next block tomorrow so wanted to get others done before I focus on that. and one of the kits I got at the retreat. I however didn't get pis of any of those yet. I did get a pic of 1 of the two quillow I did for a lady in Wales I lost her address and it just turned up yesterday so will see if she is still interested. Hope so as then I can pay off the rest of Ron's gun.
This is the hunter star I did at the retreat I finished the top a couple weeks ago rt after We got back from Reno. I absolutely love it and so want to get a back and get it quilted soon. But first need to finish Julie's as that is helping to pay the dentist bill I will be staring to quilt that tomorrow.

I had to take Monday to make baby girl blankets because I was out of them and have a shower on next Tuesday. I actually assembled three and hemstitched them, then yesterday I finished the crochet border on one so it's ready for the shower.
I am also getting started on retreat for next year I have this lady at the guild who is getting me organized and she is doing a great job. Hope to get the teachers lined up by April.
I am also very busy with young women's, Had our New beginnings program last Weds. I was happy to see both my new behives there. Also one of my 2nd year girls actually got her medallion. Pretty cool huh? I have another girl who wants to get it done by her 13th birthday.
for those of you who don't know our personal progress helps the girls ages 12 to 18 work on making themselves better in 8 areas we call values, Faith, Divine Nature, Individual Worth, Choice and Accountability, Good Works, Integrity, and Virtue. they do 6 little tasks for each value and a 10 hour project in each so it takes a good deal of time so these are devoted girls.
As of last week we have 14 behives That's ages 12 and 13 year olds they keep me in shape.
As far as really getting in shape I am back in the swing of swimming Mon. Wed. and Fri. tried to walk yesterday but our walk was cut down due to wind. Not just the normal wind here in Cedar I think they are hurricane status we were fighting it most of the way from the side and it was tough but then we were walking right into it and it was like a slow motion cartoon I'm not even kidding it was exhausting. And am I sore. That is why you shouldn't quit exercising once you get past the aching stage. Anyway I am determined to get into a routine and not quit this time .
We have alot of things happening in our lives Ron is starting a different Job for the guy he use to work for its a pay cut but the work environment is better , so it is better all around the only problem is they will be working away for part of the summer 3 week away and a week off so he's worried about his garden and getting things done here. but it'll work out. On the 9th of april Ron's oldest brother will be coming out to visit us for a week over Easter so he'll be taking that time off. Then I'll be watching Nicole's girls for a few days in April while Chris runs in a relay in Vegas. Then at the end of April Mom comes to visit and for a few days we'll be in Provo for women's conference. So all and all our spring will be fun and full of busy activities. I'll try to update more often We'll see.
