Team sewing at the guild

Thursday ids guild day for me , well this week we had a team sew for humanitarian. There were six teams and we got to sewing about 10:20 am. each team was 4 people max. My team "Seam Busters" only had three but we had fun. Each team brought their own design and used material from our guild stash. to create a lap quilt top. A few of the teams made two quilt tops. Prizes were given. Best name , we won, best color, !st done, etc. It was lots of fun. We had lunch and then finished up. Our team left about2:30 and headed to Hurricane to a quilt shop. Sat is National quilt day so we were getting an early start on the shop hop, and specials. I was also going to use the opportunity to get in contact with more teachers for the retreat in Jan. After the quilt store we even had a few mins. to stop by the nursery and buy some pansies. Fun time .
