Christmas we celebrate

So because we wanted a layed back day tomorrow we made the big dinner on Christmas eve. This way there will be plenty of left overs to snack on tomorrow. Then settled in for a fun game of seafarers of Catan. Shelly's intro to the game . We each picked a Christmas story or game and then opened our Christmas eve gifts...

And as the hour draws late we have Ron read "Twas the night before Christmas. Followed by a family Prayer and sleepy time , so Santa can come.

Merry Christmas!!! Started out with a wonderful breakfast eggs, bacon, french toast and fried potatoes. yummalicious. followed by checking out our stockings. Santa was good to us.

So this year we got each other one gift that was something wanted, actually we knew about them ahead of time but weren't allowed to play with them until Christmas morning.

Ron's special gift was a 9mm gun. Mine was a wii game system, I didn't say we needed them we wanted them. And the wii will be hours of fun for us all.

Pat just enjoying life, As he hands out his gifts.

Shelly joined us and handed out her gifts.

We just had a layed back sorta day. Chillin and bowling on the wii. no rush just enjoying the fun and joy of each other and the day. Pat and Shelly left around 3pm to spend time with her mom .
and the festivities came to an conclusion by the annual finding of the pickle Once again ole eagle eye Pat found it.

Ron and I enjoyed left overs, talked with each of the kids via phone. and watched our new movies.
