Beehive Sleepover

I am pretty sure we need to rename this activity the beehive all- nighter. The girls arrived between 6:45pm and 8:10pm about 8:25pm we got together and read thru our Virtue insert for personal progress. We than did the #2 experience together. It was really a great time and mostly spiritual. Once the girls write in their journals they'll have passed it off. Sister Curry left for home and The 10 beehives who attended decided to play games. Then around 11pm it was time for scary games . About 12:30 am we actually watched the first part of Anne of Green Gables. Than at 2:30 am it was more scary games . Sarah and Kailey opted to watch more of Anne and promptly fell asleep. The other 8 however didn't settle down till about 4 am. Ron's alarm rang at 5:30 am and he was off to work. This is the scene at about 6:30am. Kailey and Sarah in the basement......

The rest of the girls in the back yard. Ron had turned off the

sprinklers set to go off at 6:30. So we wouldn't totally be mean

Thought that since I didn't pre- warn the neighbors, it'd be best

Not to wake them up with more screaming.

I warmed up the breakfast burritos and made muffins and

pancakes. But oddly enough the girls were not ready to eat at

7:30 am.

A few ventured in but only ended up on the couch till parents

picked them up around 9:30.

A few even ate breakfast.

The last girl left at 10:10 am and I was late for an appointment,

I went to welcome the two new beehives who will join us in August.

One appoint was at 10 am the next at 1 so needless to say I didn't get much

done today, mostly napped on the couch till Ron got home. So I survived

another year!!!
