When Victoria and Christianna were here we went to the Freedmont Indaian State Park and Ron got a book on making arrowheads. Well he finished the book this week and so it was time to get started. To start we had to go on a rock hunt. This took us out past Minersville and Milford where we were told that the Obsidian rocks were suppose to be all over for the picking. Well we drove out to said sight and found a few here and there until we happened upon a trench that had been dug out and we found them. The Obsidian rocks are the black ones.
So we filled our bucket up a couple times and put them in a tote in the trunk
When you break the rock it looks smooth like glass. Pretty cool.
With the trunk weighed down we headed home. and saw this Antelope
We stopped at The Station in Milford for some Chinese food before going home.
