A weekend visit

So yes, Grant came to visit us for the weekend and he brought the whole family with him.
It was a busy Saturday but we got lots done. We started by almost forgetting
to get our Bountiful baskets. Yes Nicole ordered hers to be picked up here. So
Ron the girls and I dashed off at 7:30 to pick up our goodies....A quick stop off
at Lyn's for doughnuts and home. The girls helped me get the tomatoes from
the green house along with eggplant, Ron cleaned out some of the plants and is
getting ready to put in a winter crop.
Then it was time to process the tomatoes every one was excited
to do the smooching process but Chris did most of it. the rest of us got
little turns But he did most of it.
The girls wanted to have turns and did get a bit of a chance.
Grandpa had some special time with Grant...
Then finished up the tomatoes with Victoria... I decided to make
tomato soup got 8 pints and enough to try it out. while I was boiling
down the work shifted to outside...
While Ron split some wood Nicole and Chris stacked it...
They finished up my two rows and did a third....
Grant kept an eye on them, Already he's the foreman...
Than it was time to clean up the garden.....

But she got the job done...After we were all done and had
dinner we headed off to the park for some play time.

The girls took turns on the swing and running around
Park Discovery having all sorts of fun.
Than it was time to head back home and get the girls bathed
and ready for bed. Ron I also went to bed early and Nicole and Chris
watched some TV before settling down.
Sunday I had a meeting at Church and Ron had a breakfast
meeting with his Presidency. We enjoyed church and had some
time to visit and enjoy each other they headed home about 5:30
Sunday night it was a nice visit ; Thanks Grant for bringing everyone down!
