As my little quilting vacation draws nearer I was determined to get most of my cutting done for several projects to take along. I had to cut out lots of pieces for this quilt circles leaves and stem. about 30 of each but the really fun stuff was the 760 2 1/2" fan blades. After I cut them I had to sew them turn them and press them. Once I got that done I put all the pieces in a zip lock project bag. Totally cleaned and oiled my sewing machine and put them by the door. Ready to go. Oh, the other star project. An old one I finally finished and quilted and it's on the table for now. turned out pretty good.
So this was all together before bed last night But I had't even started packing yet . But I have about 6 project to take with me . I added an additional project a twin size quilt to be finished and quilted and ready to go to China by July for an orphanige for 400 girls there.
So here is my tote of projects all in separate zip lock bags. When I return I'll post the progress I made. Along with fun pics with the girls and the cabin and such. should be fun.
So after church I came home finished up laundry and actually packed my clothes put them in the back seat and went over to Judy Rockwell's to get the truck packed.
So this is Judy and I was the first one here still need to add Judy Stolrow, and Mona Covington's stuff. I'm really excited it will be tons of fun this cabin sounds like a gorgeous place. and Karen's brother is such a generous guy to let us use it for a week or so. Judy will pick me up at &:30 am and then gt the rest of the girls we are meeting Karen Darrow and Dorothy Loris at their house and we plan to leave by 9 am the latest. So pray for our safe trip and I'll blog when I get back.
