What's a retreat without a bit of shopping?

So we ate breakfast and loaded up the truck with bodies and we were off to Denver. We visited with Karen's daughter Sheri, went to a Greek deli for lunch, yummolisious!!!

Then it was off and shopping we had the GPS named Hazel and so we put in the address' and we were off. we went to one shop that was three shops combined into one it was great. we spent alot of time and $$$$ there and can't wait to return it was a great store. I have a kit ordered it is a beautiful quilt.

The ladies were lots of help and we are all on file with them.

They have a web site so we can order on line. And oh, I even put

in a plug for a door prize for our retreat.

This was the best store. We also went to The Great American

Quilt store. It was OK but no where near as good as the first store.

We couldn't hit any other shops because quilt stores as a rule close

by 6pm So we consulted Hazel who found us a Bistro across the

street and we ate a wonderful dinner. Then we headed

back to the cabin in Aspen. We got back at 11:10 PM

so pretty much it was unload and go to bed for the

night. . What a fun day, long but fun.
