HAPPY FATHER"S DAY Ron!!!!
Just Because I planned my vacation away from the father of my wonderful children doesn't mean I don't love or appreciate the wonderful dad he is to those children. Ron is a wonderful dad and I even made a little treasure hunt for him for after church. With Gator aid, popcorn and treats to eat while watching the movie I'd gotten him. He found it fun. Also we were able to talk a couple of times today. He knows hes and awesome dad and all the kids talked with him also and that was the best father's day gift anyway.
So it was the white pages we consulted last night and a new address for Hazel and Dorothy went out while we got dressed and ta,da, she found it. The Aspen Branch. and We arrived 20 minutes early to a very excited group. As the Bishop shook our hands he asked if he could transfer our records. Sacrament meeting was great and after one of the ladies asked if we were staying for class or bailing. She wanted butts in the seats for her session, Karen said with an invitation like that how could we bail. Most of us planned to stay anyway and those who had thought about leaving early stayed . both Sunday School and Relief Society were terrific lessons and we were glad we'd stayed. We drove up to Maroon Lake , but not open to public needed to take a shuttle and I didn't want to pay to go on Sunday so we decided to go in the morning before we head home. But about Five we decided to go to the little Rock church we'd drove by all week Judy S. was napping so the rest of us went to take pictures. We took time to smell the flowers. The Colorado State flower " Blue Columbine.

Some other flowers in the Meditation garden in the front...

What a tranquil place to just sit and reflect on all the beauty God has blessed us with.

Different angle of this neat old church built in 1969

The wonderful bottle glass windows designed by a French arcacatec Using the bottle glass brought in from France the windows depict the Be attitudes.

This is the view from the front ...

This is a Methodist church, originally but they call it a community Chapel . Notice the Dove of Peace on the steeple.
And so we headed back to the cabin for yet another wonderful meal, Corned beef and Cabbage. Later we had Crepes for desert. And Dorothy, Karen Judy R. and I played Wizard A card game till about 11P.M. Lots of fun. One last look at this neat chapel.
