my accomplishments for the week

I finished this Winter Garden Trellis quilt I started a the retreat in January.
I will add a border then Quilt it for our bed in December.
Lazy Daisy Oatmeal Cake Quilt, needs to be appliqued with a buttonhole
stitch Then quilted and I'll make the cake that goes with it.

This is a BQ that I need to add a border to and quilt it for one of the

bunk beds in the grand kids room.

The square is to be a pillow for grand kids room

this will get Quilted next week and go to the orphanage in China

For one of the 400 girls that need a quilt for their own.

I got pieces sewn together for my Washington Temple but didn't get it assembled yet. And I got started on a Split 9 patch and ran out of squares I'm trying to get that done today between the catching up on my blog.

So It's Saturday night and Dorothy Karen and I decided to hook up Hazel and put in the address from the yellow pages of the phone book and find the church so we won't be late tomorrow. We drove up to the road stated turned on second turn on turnaround and went .8miles and were told that we had reached our destination....

So I wonder is Relief society in bus number 14 and Sacrament in 35. I thought that being back east in a small branch was tough.... so we decided to try to see if we'd chosen the wrong road one was drive and the other road . that led us to a private property road with a gated drive with a key pad entrance.OOPS as we were backing out the owner arrived confused by us being in his way. Next we drove into aspen and asked for directions we were told that is was out of town across from the golf course. So much for that idea it was yet another Private residential area. Did I mention that every time we tried a new route their was a cop pulling someone over just beyond where we turned. To break up the boredom we found some beautifully loaded lilac bushes so we picked a lovely bouquet. which promptly wilted. So we tried Hazel just one more time she's done such a great job yesterday in Denver. ........... You guessed it ..

Back to the buses. So we decided to go back to the cabin and Call. We received a recording giving us the time of church. Then we thought we'd try calling in the morning to see if we could catch them at their meetings.We played Cards took showers and went to bed. I actually observed the game so can play tomorrow.
